Kindle for PC: Amazon has released version 1.25.0 Build 52064. Updates are available through the Kindle or from Amazon’s website.
Microsoft Internet Explorer: Microsoft has released updates for versions of Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11 to fix an extremely critical vulnerability. Updates are available through the program or from Microsoft’s website.
Viber: Viber has released version 9.9.4.14 for Windows. Updates are available on Viber’s website.
WhatsApp: WhatsApp has released version 0.3.1649. Updates are available from the WhatsApp website.
WinZip: Winzip has released version 23.0.13300. Updates are available from within the program, look for “Check for Updates” on the Help menu, or download from the WinZip website.

Vulnerability management is a key element of cybersecurity management. Cyber criminals take over user computers by writing computer programs that “exploit” vulnerabilities in operating systems (Windows, Apple OS, etc) and application programs (Adobe Acrobat, Office, Flash, Java, etc). When software companies find a vulnerability, they usually issue an update patch to fix the code running in their customer’s computers.
