So, what does "technical support" really mean?

 

Good question, glad you asked!  Technical support, from the AXICOM dictionary that is, means that AXICOM provides technical consulting services, hardware and software services, managed services and everything in between.  It's not just doing the work requested by a client but it's also helping clients make the right decision for their business needs from the beginning and then helping through implementation.  And, it extends beyond each client by offering webinars, seminars, online workshops, e-newsletters and more that are educational.  Here are some examples of how AXICOM provides technical support:

 

1.  Case Study #1 - Fast Growing Banking Institution:  Client is a banking institution with plenty of financial backing.  AXICOM provides a detailed quote of PC, server, software and security requirements and then delivers and sets up the network.  After initial network installation, client decides it also wants to run a virtualized network so AXICOM provides a quote for the project and installs a virtual environment.

 

2.  Case Study #2 - Well-Established Law Firm:  Client is a well-established law firm that has been using a "one-man computer consultant" who is charging them what they consider an unduly high rate.  AXICOM lowers their bill by 50% by installing AxiGuard, a remote 24x7 monitoring and management system to provide patches, anti-virus and anti-spyware protection and hardware alerts for all of their PCs and servers.  They are happy to have a budgeted monthly expense and proactive maintenance that is not reliant on a technician's schedule and ongoing on-site interruptions.

 

3.  Case Study #3 - New Business Start Up:  Client wants to start a new business.  At the moment, it's a one-person operation with a limited budget but plans for steady growth.  AXICOM recommends that the client starts with Google Apps (Docs, Calendar, forms, etc.) which can be grown to add more employees while keeping expenses low.  Additionally, AxiGuard is installed on the client's PC so that the client doesn't have to worry about technical problems while working to get her business up and running.
