Season of Hope

After dinner last night Christa and I piled the boys into the mini-van to go look at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. We drove around town with our favorite Christmas songs on CD playing. The dark cold night was broken by the bright colorful lights of the homes. We could see colorful trees covered with lights and ornaments in the windows. The houses exuded warmth and comfort. We sang about letting it snow and roasting chestnuts.
